About
In 1997 I started Bittersweet Herb Garden, growing medicinal and culinary herbs and making herbal remedies. As time went on, we grew into Bittersweet Ridge when we took on a small spinners flock of Shetland Sheep and English Angora Rabbits. I spun their wool fibers for yarn and I used it to create one of kind needle felted figures.
I have studied with the late Gail Ulrich of Blazing Star Herbal School, Shelbourn Falls, MA, in her herbal intensive program. We no longer have any sheep or angora rabbits, but we continue to produce and enjoy products from their wool. Getting ready for retirement, moving into a new phase of my life, BUT I still love my needle felting, soap making and locker hooking. Learning never gets old! - Rose |
